Jed Kaleko is a veteran of more than 13 years of stage design and set construction. He earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts from Florida State University, and while a graduate student in the Film School, he designed the set for the award winning student film, Trinity (later featured on TV's Movie Magic), and oversaw the construction of a city street that covered the entire 3,600 square foot soundstage in Sarasota for the film Squeegee.

Jed has also engaged his skills as Director on The Pit, and as Director of Photography on Paul McCall. Both received multiple awards, including one each from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation Collegiate Television Award. Jed provided the cinematography for a music video which was voted as one of the Top 100 Videos in adult contemporary music, and went back to his scenic roots when he served as Production Designer on the feature film, Rose's.

Jed has served on the Film School faculty since 1996.
